The Challenge
Traveler site design was outdated and was being overshadowed by member hotels. High-revenue-generating travel advisor audience was underserved.
The Leadership
Co-facilitated pitch workshops with the experience strategist that helped win a $6M+ two-year contract; led 2 UX designers on a dual-track agile project.
The Process
Led design of a new Travel Advisor product and ran roadmapping and prioritization. Designed editorial pages with Figma Make and Claude Design.
The Impact
Advisor portal launched in 2025 and showcased by LHW leadership at its annual member-hotelier conference. The client then kept us on for the traveler site’s design.

Behind the work
The Team
Led 2 junior UX designers alongside the visual design lead, and covered project management as the project went through 6 PMs. Client side included the CMO.
The Constraints
A small team for the scope, hard release dates tied to LHW’s annual conferences inside an agile process, and a rule that the new site couldn’t lose revenue.
The Research
Advisors want short, actionable copy with key facts first, so their content is more informational than the traveler site’s. Biggest pain point was limited by data availability.
What I’d Change
Push for a flexible design system up front, set a clearer client approval process, and give my designer more feedback so mistakes were caught earlier.
